This revision updates the entire Radiation Safety chapter of the SPPM.  This revised chapter includes the following 12 sections:

–  Radiation Machine Authorization 9.60
–  Radioactive Waste Management 9.70
–  Radiological Incident and Emergency Response 9.80
–  Regulatory Oversight and References 9.90
–  Acronyms and Definitions 9.95

This revision removes or replaces the following SPPM sections:

–  Radiation Safety Responsibility and Authority 9.14
–  Radiation Safety Courses 9.16
–  Authorization to Use Radiation Sources 9.20
–  Radiation Machines 9.22
–  Acquiring Sources of Ionizing Radiation 9.25
–  Radiation Signs and Labels 9.32
–  Laboratory Radiation Safety Practices 9.35
–  Decontamination Procedures 9.40
–  Laboratory Survey Program 9.42
–  Sealed Source Leak Testing Program 9.43
–  Personnel Monitoring Devices 9.45
–  Extremity Monitoring 9.46
–  Bioassays 9.48
–  Prenatal Radiation Exposure 9.50
–  Disposal of Radioactive Wastes 9.60
–  Disposal of Equipment Used with Radioactive Materials 9.65
