Join the WPC Young Professionals club at WSU on Tuesday, April 16, in the Junior Ballroom in the Compton Union Building at WSU at 7 p.m. for The Great Tax Debate: Who Should Pay and How Much.

This event is free and open to the public. This debate is designed to engage and educate students and the community and to offer an opportunity to tackle a critical issue in a respectful environment.

This exciting discussion will address some of the top questions surrounding taxation in both the state and nation including:

  • Should corporate taxes be increased or cut?
  • What is the definition of wealth?
  • Should Washington state have an income tax?
  • Should the state or country adopt a carbon tax?
