Graduate assistantship for 2016-17: Student Financial Services

Student Financial Services is seeking graduate assistants for the upcoming academic year! This position will assist with financial aid and scholarship processing projects as assigned. This may include, but not be limited to, Satisfactory Academic Progress, File Review, myWSU checklist and communications, departmental communications and general student account management.

Graduate assistant staff support positions have the responsibility of providing excellent customer service in a high stress environment; answering emails, phones, and having face to face daily contact with students, parents, staff, and faculty; advising them on obtaining financial aid and scholarship information and payments according to university, state and federal financial aid rules.  Position duties and responsibilities will be performed in support of office vision, mission and values as well as institutional mission and goals.

This is a nine-month, half-time, (20 hours per week – average) position.  Applicants with the ability to stay for at least two years are preferred and students must be a Washington resident, accepted into a graduate program and attending graduate school at WSU in the upcoming fall semester.
