Going Up! Offers Insider Info on New LEED Gold Lab Building

A new addition to the WSU campus is already in the making. Slated to be the first LEED Gold certified laboratory building on campus, the PACCAR Environmental Technology Building will be a hub for multiple interdisciplinary research programs, as well as education in renewable materials, sustainable design, water quality, and atmospheric research. The building is scheduled to open in Oct., 2015 – but you don’t have to wait to get an insider’s view on how a super-sustainable building is made.

The architects, engineers, and construction team have some big tasks ahead of them before the PACCAR Building joins the WSU community. Follow along as the team creates the PACCAR Building from the ground up and get the scoop on what it takes to get LEED certification, the clean technology research happening on campus, and the technology going into this amazing building in Going Up!
