A new addition to the WSU campus is already in the making. Slated to be the first LEED Gold certified laboratory building on campus, the PACCAR Environmental Technology Building will be a hub for multiple interdisciplinary research programs, as well as education in renewable materials, sustainable design, water quality, and atmospheric research. The building is scheduled to open in Oct., 2015 – but you don’t have to wait to get an insider’s view on how a super-sustainable building is made.
The architects, engineers, and construction team have some big tasks ahead of them before the PACCAR Building joins the WSU community.
