Global Services Workshop: Employing and Hosting International Scholars and Students at WSU

Join us Wednesday, October 8, at 1:30 p.m. in Lightly 405.

This workshop is intended for any staff member who interacts with international students, scholars, and staff that are temporary residents. It is particularly useful for those involved with personnel-related duties such as obtaining necessary employment authorization for international researchers and teachers, hosting international faculty that are not employed, and completing paperwork for student employment.  Members of WSU Global Services staff will describe eligibility criteria, processes, rules, and policies for hosting and employing international student and scholars residing at WSU on temporary appointments, not permanent residency

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
