Give the Gift of Service this Holiday Season

Leave the gift cards at the store this holiday season, and instead give a gift of service. By participating in one of the Center for Civic Engagement’s (CCE) Service Giving Projects between December 11 and December 18, students can receive a certificate stating that they have participated in a community service project in honor of the gift recipient. This is a great way to give a meaningful, personal gift to your loved ones while supporting local community organizations. Available ServiceGiving Projects options include collecting donations for Harvest House on December 11 or December 18, helping first through fourth graders write pen friends letters on December 11, working on an environmental project on December 12, or visiting local senior citizens and giving them manicures on December 18. Students must register for these projects on CougSync to reserve a space. Visit cce.wsu.edu to learn more.
