Getting started with food preservation, online event

As the growing season comes to a close, many people are looking to preserve their abundance of fresh fruits and veggies. If this sounds like you, be sure to register for this Global Connections webinar with WSU Consumer Food Safety Specialist Dr. Stephanie Smith. At 6 p.m. on Sept. 28, Dr. Smith will demonstrate how to make Quick Kosher Dill Pickles and answer all your food preservation questions—live and online. Learn the basics of food preservation, food safety, and storage methods so you can start preserving food for your household this fall!
