Get your flu shot, it’s not too late

Flu season is in full swing and if you haven’t already gotten a flu shot, now is the time. Flu activity is on the rise nationwide with widespread activity reported in Washington State. Although the flu season is underway, the flu vaccine continues to be the best protection against the flu, and all members of the WSU community are encouraged to get vaccinated. The vaccine is available to students at Health and Wellness Services for $25. No appointment necessary just stop by the clinic. The vaccine may also be available through health care providers and retail outlets in the Pullman area.

Practicing good health habits can help to reduce the chance of getting or spreading the flu:
• Cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze/cough.
• Wash your hands frequently.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience.
