Get started in research! The Cougar Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE), May 9 – 13

If you know students who are interested in getting started in undergraduate research, please tell them about the Cougar Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) 2016. It will be offered May 9 – 13 this year. As explained on the CURE website, “This research tutorial program gives students an idea of what to expect as undergraduate researchers by introducing the jargon and methods of research. Students will also have the opportunity to meet faculty members and visit their research areas. CURE covers every step of the process, from finding a mentor to disseminating their research findings.” Scholarships are available.

Students can learn more (and get started on their applications) here: https://undergraduateresearch.wsu.edu/programs/cure/. Any questions can be sent to UGresearch@wsu.edu. We’ll be starting to make offers in the next few days, and will continue to do so over the next few weeks, so we’re encouraging students to apply as soon as possible. Thank you for supporting undergraduate research.
