FY2018 Commercialization Gap Funding cycle now open – Letters of Intent due July 28

Researchers with near-market-ready technologies are invited to apply for grants to support the commercialization of their innovations through WSU’s Commercialization Gap Fund (CGF).

The CGF program provides financial assistance to advance technologies that are at the end stages of research but require additional development before entering the marketplace. Grants will be made to researchers with disclosed innovations or inventions that have a high degree of commercialization potential, and who successfully complete the three-stage application process.

The deadline for the required Letter of Intent is July 28, 2017.  For more details about the application process, please visit the Office of Commercialization website at

The CGF program is an initiative of WSU’s Office of Research and is managed through the Office of Commercialization. This funding initiative is generously supported by the Washington Research Foundation.
