Funeral services for Thomas L. Kennedy, former Vice Provost

Thomas “Tom” Larew Kennedy died on June 5, 2015 in Pullman, WA from complications of cancer. He was 85.  By the time he retired as a full professor of history  in 2001, he had served as Interim Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Vice Provost for Instruction as well as in other administrative roles. He was also instrumental in developing Washington State University’s Asia Program.  He was one of the two co-founders of the World Civilizations component of the General Education Program.

A rosary is scheduled for June 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pullman WA. A funeral Mass is scheduled for June 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pullman, WA. A reception will follow at Banyans on the Ridge. All are welcome to attend any or all of these events to celebrate Tom’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Xavier High School at 30 W. 16th Street, NY, NY 10011-6302.
