“Fruitvale Station” movie- Investigating the Criminal Justice System Film Series

Diversity Education is hosting a film series that critically examines the criminal justice system. The film series will use three mainstream films as a launching point to discuss the impact that the prison system has on individuals and communities, and in reinforcing systemic inequality. Following each film, there will be a discussion that explores the issues presented by the film and the state of the criminal justice system.

Our next film in the series is “Fruitvale Station” which will be shown on Thursday, March 13 at 5 p.m. in the Honors Hall Lounge. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, please see our Facebook event at https://www.facebook.com/events/628283060590595/.
