Free Weather Spotter Class Nov. 26

The WSU Office of Emergency Management and Whitman County Emergency Management are hosting the National Weather Service Skywarn Weather Spotter training Nov. 26 from 6-8 p.m.

The class will be held at the WSU Pullman Public Safety Building, 2201 East Grimes Way.  Learn the basics of weather safety, how to identify hazardous weather features and how to report weather. Become a volunteer weather spotter for the National Weather Service and learn how to be the “eyes and ears” of the NWS.  The training is free, open to the public and no prior experience is necessary.
