Free Tai Chi and Dance Workshop with Mia Hsieh Tonight at 5 p.m.

Join Mia Hsieh co-director, choreographer and vocalist with Taiwan’s “A Moving Sound” on Thursday, Sept. 25, for a free 75-minute Tai Chi and dance workshop in Wadleigh Theatre at Daggy Hall. Beginning at 5 p.m., this workshop provides an opportunity to explore the aesthetic quality of eastern culture through body movement. Participants are introduced to the main ideas of Tai Chi and then guided in personal exploration through solo movement and interaction with others. No prior Tai Chi or dance experience is required all are welcome. Enrollment is limited to 20. Please RSVP at gsiegel@wsu.edu to reserve a space in advance. Remaining spaces will be available on a first come first served basis.
