Free piano lessons to volunteer students ages 7-9

The Piano Pedagogy Lab School in the School of Music is looking for children to receive free beginning piano lessons as part of student teacher training. Children ages 7-9 with no previous piano lessons will receive 3 weekly 30-minute private lessons (parents are welcome to attend) with a supervised college student teacher; all materials and supplies will be provided. We ask that participants have access to a piano or keyboard for daily practice during the three weeks. Lessons will be scheduled at the mutual convenience of the student teacher and particpants beginning the week of March 21. Contact Michelle Mielke for more information: mielke@wsu.edu
