Frankenstein: Before and After Film Screening

Frankenstein: Before and After is a symposium honoring the Gothic sources that gave rise to Mary Shelley’s novel and and its legacies in film and digital media: from estate romances and courtly apparitions to hypertext heroines and posthuman bodies. This event is part of the larger Frankenreads international celebration, organized by the Keats-Shelley Association of America and sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities, which commemorates the publication of Mary Shelley’s  novel Frankenstein (1818) 200 years ago. It will be held at WSU’s Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation, located on the 4th floor of Holland Library on Friday, March 23. For more information visit our website here, or our Facebook event page.

We are proud to be sponsored by: Cafe Moro, the University of Idaho and Washington State University Departments of English, WSU’s Digital Technology and Culture program, and the Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation.
