Paul Pierson, John Gross chair and professor of political science at the University of California Berkeley will present the keynote Foley Distinguished Lecture, “Trump and the Changing Political Landscape in America,” on Feb. 1 at 4:30 p.m. in the Compton Union Building (CUB) Auditorium.
Pierson’s award winning works include: “Winner-Take-All Politics: How Washington Made the Rich Richer and Turned Its Back on the Middle Class” (2010), “Off-Center: The Republican Revolution and the Erosion of American Democracy” (2005), and “The Transformation of American Politics: Activist Government and the Rise of Conservatism” (2007).
