Fitness Instructor Training

Become a fitness instructor for University Recreation! Fitness Instructor Training (FIT) is on Thursdays and Sundays at 6-7:30 p.m. from Oct. 23 to Dec. 7. The training combines theoretical content and hands-on practice to cover the basics of group fitness instruction. FIT prepares participants for the ACE group fitness instructor certification exam.

The training is required to work for UREC, but completion of the course is not a guarantee of employment. FIT costs $52 for SRC members and registration ends Oct. 29.  The registration fee includes a manual and enrollment into a fitness class as a shadow. Visit urec.wsu.edu/fitness/become-a-fitness-instructor for more information.
