FEMPowerment Lunch at the Women’s Resource Center – Today

For this series, invited speakers join us for lunch to discuss empowering topics. We’ll provide the light lunch, you provide the conversation! Our bag lunches were a hit last time, and we’ll have them for you again. Our second FEMPowerment Lunch guest speaker will be Donna Arnold, of Multicultural Student Services, who will join us to talk about what it means when personal issues are political. It’s a timely conversation for many reasons – the current election cycle, but also because in October we take part in many political actions focused on issues both political and personal, including sexual and domestic violence and breast cancer awareness. Join us for this conversation as we gear up for the Week Without Violence!

This second FEMPowerment Lunch is starting at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 6th, at the Women’s Resource Center, on the ground floor of Wilson-Short hall.  It’s an informal conversation – feel free to stop by!
