Feb. adventures with the Outdoor Recreation Center

Are you looking to get outside this winter? Come join the ORC to explore, adventure and enjoy the winter weather! We are offering many different trips and clinics to help you learn new skills or master your current ones. Check out our website and register today, trips are filling up fast.

February Trips and Clinics, price discounts for UREC members.

  • Ski Shuttles to Lookout Pass, Schweitzer Mountain, and Silver mountain! This trip happens periodically throughout the month, at a price point of $30-$45.
  • Avalanche Beacon Clinic, Crevasse Rescue and Skills Clinic, Lead Climbing Clinic and Kayak Roll Clinic. Clinics happen almost weekly with a varying price point.
  • Cross Country Ski the Palouse Divide. Registration ends February 2 and the trip takes place February 9th, this trip costs $50-$80.
  • Snowshoe at Moscow Mountain. Registration ends February 2 and the trip takes place on February 8, this trip costs $35-$55.
  • Wallowas Backcountry Ski, Sauna and hut Trip. Registration ends February 2 and the trip takes place February 14-17, this trip costs $260 – $365.
  • DIY Bike Series. Registration ends February 9 and the series is from February 12–March 11, with a price point of $20-$45.
  • Banff Ice Climbing, Cross Country Skiing and Hot Springs. Registration ends February 12 and the trip takes place February 20–23, this trip costs $395-$625.
  • Thursday Lunch Cross Country Ski (if it snows it goes). This series takes place weekly from January 16–February 20, and it’s FREE!
