Feb. 6 | Collecting, Managing and Citing Reference Resources Workshop

This training will introduce participants to Zotero, a free, open-source alternative to reference manager systems such as EndNot and ProCite.

The training will be held on February 6, 9:30–11:30 a.m.

Zotero allows users to easily save bibliographic details, comments, indexing terms, and direct links to webpages, word documents, and articles that are in library subscription databases such as Worldwide Political Science Abstracts, JSTOR, and PubMed. Zotero will then integrate the references into a paper in several different citations styles using Microsoft Word.

The class will also provide an overview of the free web-based reference management tools Connotea and CiteULike.
