Fall 2021 Academic Outreach and Innovation Trainings

Academic Outreach and Innovation (AOI) has announced additional trainings this semester, available via Zoom:

Teaching from a Distance Series:

  • Nov. 16: Strategies and Best Practices
  • Nov. 17: Community Building and Connection
  • Nov. 18: Authentic Assessment

Canvas Trainings:

  • Dec. 1: Canvas Gradebook
  • Dec. 2: Getting Started with Canvas

Distance Delivery Mastery Certificate — Attending three AOI trainings, with at least one as part of the Teaching from a Distance series, anyone teaching with Canvas can take the first step toward earning the Distance Delivery Mastery Certificate.

Furthermore, if you are planning to teach a course with a remote instructional component (per recent Provost communications), the above-listed workshops supply the required training and support.
