Fall 2015 Tidal Leadership Symposium

Join us October 2 for Lessons from the Wild Side: Learning to Lead from the Center, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Ensminger Pavilion on the WSU Pullman campus.

Lessons from the Wild Side explores four personality types in a playful, supportive and lighthearted way, inspired by our friends in the animal kingdom. Join us for this one-day workshop to find out what the furred and feathered ones can teach us about our own human behavioral tendencies.

Learning to recognize your own personality type, and to embrace and embody the strengths and mitigate the weaknesses of all four types results in powerful and flexible leadership capabilities. This is leading from the center.

We all serve as leaders in some capacity in our work places, our communities, and at home. So whether you’re an early career student or an experienced professional, we hope you’ll join us for the Fall 2015 Tidal Leadership Symposium where you will have the opportunity to explore the four personality types through a live, interactive matrix.

In this symposium workshop, we will:

  • Explore and practice the phenomenon of leading from the center;
  • Develop strategies for dealing with limiting behavior patterns that present obstacles to moving forward;
  • Practice mindfulness and awareness techniques in a community setting;
  • Share experiences and network with other inspiring leaders;
  • Support and mentor others on their journey to becoming an influential leader.
