Faculty, graduate students can register for Aug. 16 ELEVATE ‘inclusive teaching’ conference

Registration is open for the Tuesday, Aug. 16, inaugural ELEVATE conference to support faculty and graduate students to “engage learners, enhance voices, and advance teaching excellence.”

The theme of the conference is “Inclusive Teaching.” Through brief presentations, dialogue, and engaged participation, participants will learn how structured, active learning can create more equitable classrooms and improve learning for all WSU students.

The all‑day, system‑wide event is co‑sponsored by the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President, the Transformational Change Initiative, and Academic Outreach and Innovation.

The conference will be concurrent on all campuses, with participants encouraged to attend in person at their own campus to view presentations and meet with colleagues during interactive sessions.
