Faculty Advisors Needed for Global Case Competition

The Global Case Competition Needs YOU to be a Faculty Advisor!

You are invited to be a faculty advisor to an interdisciplinary team of graduate and undergraduate students participating in this year’s Global Case Competition (GCC)!  The GCC brings together graduate and undergraduate students from all WSU campuses to form interdisciplinary teams to develop solutions to issues currently impacting a global community. Teams of 4-6 students work together under a strict timeline to develop strategic solutions to a selected case. Teams present their strategies in a public forum to a panel of judges who decide the winners. The winning team may have an opportunity to travel and/or receive a cash prize.

Faculty advisors work with individual teams to facilitate teamwork and ensure that the team’s solutions reflect the disciplines of the students on the team.

Faculty Advisors should be available to communicate with their teams between Feb. 17-March 7.

To volunteer to be a Faculty Advisor or for additional information, please contact Christine Oakley, Director of Global Learning coakley@wsu.edu.
