Equity Workshop Series: Sign up for Equity 101 on Nov. 13

The Office of Outreach and Education has introduced a new Equity Workshop Series that is open to faculty and staff across the WSU system.

Interested participants can register for the first workshop in the series, Equity 101: Defining and Cultivating Inclusive Excellence at WSU. The next sessions will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13 and Wednesday, Dec. 11. This workshop is available in person at WSU Pullman or through videoconferencing.

In Equity 101, participants will learn about WSU’s values relating to equity and inclusive excellence. Participants will also explore key terms related to equity and inclusion, examine notions of intent versus impact, and discuss affirming language.

Individuals can enroll in Equity 101: Defining and Cultivating Inclusive Excellence at WSU through wsu.skillport.com. To request a training session for your department, contact Merrianneeta Nesbitt at mnesbit@wsu.edu.
