Enterprise Systems app maintenance, May 2

Please see the following scheduled Information Technology Services (ITS) maintenance process:

Date: Wednesday, May 3
Start Time: Noon
End Time: 1 p.m.

The following work is being completed: Enterprise Systems will perform upgrades on all services in the esg-apps.it.wsu.edu domain to provide better security posturing. During this one hour window, each service will be down for rough 5–10 minutes.

All affected groups: Enterprise Systems Group, Enrollment IT, General Campus Community
All processes affected: Services in the esg-apps.it.wsu.edu domain, including Notices and the Canvas Sandbox.
Duration of impact: Approximately 5–10 minute outage for each application.

Follow up steps customers need to take: As ITS implements a more restrictive network policy, please verify that your applications are still able to connect to any service regularly utilized at the esg-apps.it.wsu.edu domain.

Questions? Please contact Crimson Service Desk via email at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu or phone at 509‑335‑4357 with any questions regarding this scheduled work.
