Kimberly Burwick will read from her forthcoming book of poetry, Good Night Brother, at noon on Friday, September 26, in the Bundy Reading Room of Avery Hall.

Kimberly Burwick is the author of three collections of poetry: Has No Kinsmen (Red Hen Press, 2006), Horses in the Cathedral, winner of the Robert Dana Prize (Anhinga Press, 2011) and Good Night Brother, winner of the Burnside Review Book Prize (Burnside Review Press, forthcoming, 2014). Her poems have also won the C.P. Cavafy Prize from Poetry International and the Black Warrior Review Award. As well, she has recently been named a finalist for the Lynda Hull Memorial Poetry Prize and Bellevue Literary Review’s Marica and Jan Vilcek Prize for Poetry.
