Electronic Marginalia: Tools for Annotation Workshop with Lorena O’English

WSU Social Sciences Librarian Lorena O’English will be hosting a workshop titled, “Electronic Marginalia: Tools for Annotation” in the CDSC Spring Series Friday, March 25, from 1 – 3 p.m. in the CDSC (Holland Libraries, 4th Floor).

Interested in using annotation tools for your research? This two hour workshop will address the benefits of annotating our research with digital tools. Increasingly students and researchers are reading articles and other sources online, either as PDF documents or directly as web documents. Annotation is a crucial part of critically evaluating a source to extract meaning and prepare for later re-reading and review. This workshop will discuss modes of electronic annotation, including methods for creating and sharing annotations on the Web.
