Dry-aged New York strip steaks at Cougar Quality Meats

Still making last minute meal preparations for the holiday, or looking for a gift for the meat connoisseur of the family?  Stop by Cougar Quality Meats this week, Thursday and Friday, 3–5:30 p.m. We have holiday favorites, like rib roasts and tenderloin steaks, in addition to cuts you can’t easily find elsewhere, like Denver steaks and culotte/pincanha.

New this week, experience flavor like you never have before with our dry-aged New York strip steaks. Did you know the dry-aging environment promotes the growth of mold (trimmed before packaging), which imparts the nutty and musty flavor of dry-aged beef, similar to cheese? Our meat processing facility has the perfect environment for producing this uniquely flavorful beef.

The meat store will be closed Dec. 28–29 and resume normal hours on Jan. 4–5.
