Dr. Karen Weathermon retirement reception tomorrow, May 6

The WSU community is cordially invited to a reception honoring Karen Weathermon, director of First-Year-Programs (FYP), to celebrate her upcoming retirement.

Day/Date: Tuesday, May 6
Time: 3:30–5:00 p.m.
Place: Smith Center for Undergraduate Education (CUE) 518, WSU Pullman

We will celebrate Karen’s nearly four decades at Washington State University — first as a master’s and PhD student and then as long-time program leader. As the FYP director, she is responsible for the Common Reading Program, the First-Year Focus living-learning community, and the College Success Seminar (UNIV 104) course.

There will be a memory box for cards and notes, a photo booth for personal pictures with Karen, and a program where guests can share fond memories and favorite stories.

All are welcome! Questions can be sent to jgotch@wsu.edu.
