Dr. Anita Cory Recognized Nationally for Work with Fraternity/Sorority Students

Dr. Anita Cory worked at Washington State University for over 20 years, focusing on the growth and development of student leaders in the fraternity/sorority community, and most recently on assessment and strategic planning for the Division of Student Affairs. This December, she will be recognized by the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA) as a recipient of the Sue Kraft Fussell Distinguished Service Award for her commitment to the profession and dedication to enhancing the fraternal experience. The annual conference and awards banquet will be hosted in Nashville, TN.

Anita is now working with student organization development, fraternity/sorority life, leadership programs, multicultural programs and cultural resource centers, graduate and undergraduate student governments, assessment and strategic planning, and student organization conduct at the University of Iowa.
