Distinguished speaker, Dr. Tonya Peeples, gives public presentation on March 24

Dr. Tonya Peeples presents “Maintaining the Fire Without Being Consumed: Success Strategies for Women Leaders in Academia” on Monday, March 24, at 10:10 a.m. in the CUB Jr. Ballroom. As the Associate Dean for Diversity and Outreach in the College of Engineering at The University of Iowa, Dr. Tonya Peeples has a background that will deliver an insightful perspective on the barriers and various issues women often encounter when pursuing a career in academia. ADVANCE at WSU invites all faculty, staff and students to attend. Her presentation will be available at all WSU campuses via videoconferencing.
