The Digital Classroom Building will be open for classes starting with the Fall 2017 semester! There will be an Open Forum in the Senior Ballroom of the CUB on October 18 from 11a.m. until 4 p.m. The forum is intended to provide faculty and the campus community an opportunity to explore the features of the Digital Classroom Building design and provide feedback on the technologies, furniture, and support for that building. Within the Senior Ballroom of the CUB, will replicate the layout of the 275-290 seat round active learning hall to allow faculty the opportunity to experience the look and feel of a round teaching space. We encourage faculty to attend to explore the DCB plans for active learning classrooms and other classroom technologies that will be deployed within the DCB formal and informal learning spaces. We will also have furniture samples from various vendors that will be considered for use within the DCB for review and evaluation. Faculty can engage with support staff to discuss ways they can prepare to teach with the technologies planned within the DCB as well as provide their ideas for the design of an innovative teaching station for the round classroom. To check out the progress on the DCB, you can review the website at www.dcb.wsu.edu
