Deadlines are soon for two 2025 grant applications that support teaching innovation and excellence, both awarded by the Division of Academic Engagement and Student Achievement (DAESA). They are:
· March 14, Friday: Smith Teaching and Learning Grant
· March 19, Wednesday: Richard Law Award
The Smith grants support innovative ideas that enhance teaching and learning at WSU. This year, successful proposals must address one or more of the Eight Principles of Effective Teaching, as outlined by the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Texas.
The Richard G. Law Excellence Award for Undergraduate Teaching recognizes outstanding teaching by faculty WSU’s University Common Requirements (UCORE) general education program.
