The Common Reading Program is looking for books that fit the two-year theme of “Leadership and Social Justice.” This year’s book, “Just Mercy: A story of Justice and Redemption,” by Bryan Stevenson, aligns with this theme.
On the Common Reading website there’s a list of this year’s already-nominated books. You can suggest a new book or endorse a previously nominated book. Fill out the online form with the book’s title and why it would be an outstanding choice for freshmen and others to read and use in the classroom and beyond.
Nominations will remain open until 6 p.m. tomorrow evening.
