Dad’s Weekend with UREC

University Recreation welcomes dads, family, and friends this Dad’s Weekend with a plethora of fun activities:

Special Events Weekend Passes-For only $10 you can purchase a Special Events Weekend Pass that is good Thursday through Sunday. Come in for a hot shower, the bouldering wall, or to challenge yourselves in a game of basketball or racquetball.

Free Fitness Fun– We are hosting Dad’s Weekend yoga, ballroom dancing, CrossFit and a bench press competition!

Dad’s Challenge– Test your limits on the high ropes course and bond over group games. This challenge will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will be completed by 3 p.m. in time to catch the game. Lunch will be included! Be sure to register by Oct. 16.

Hike at Kamiak Butte– There is no better way to bond than being in the great outdoors with family! This 3.1 mile hike will take you to a nearby county park that overlooks the gorgeous Palouse. Patrons will leave at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 from the Outdoor Recreation Center and return at 1 p.m. Register by Oct. 19 to reserve your spots.

Run for Your Life 5k– This 3.1 mile road race is open to runners and walkers ages six and up. Students, dads, family and friends are encouraged to dress up as they make their way around the WSU campus. All proceeds benefit the WSU Lightweight Women’s Crew Team!
