Culture and Heritage Houses are hiring for fall 2014!

Student jobs at the Culture and Heritage Houses!

The WSU Culture and Heritage Houses* are now seeking motivated undergraduate students to fill several positions for fall 2014. Students interested to work with diverse populations are encouraged to apply.

Up to five undergraduates will be hired as Cultural House Assistants.  The duties include staffing events, assisting with programs, and routine upkeep of the Houses.  Students must be available to work evenings and weekends. Work-study eligible students are preferred.

*The WSU Culture and Heritage Houses are a complex of four historic buildings: Talmadge Anderson Heritage House, Casa Latina, Native American Cultural House, and the Asian Pacific American Cultural House. The staff of the Houses conducts programming throughout the year.  In addition, the staff manages the facilities for WSU community members who have events in the facilities.  http://culturalhouses.wsu.edu/

A new era for the Institute for Shock Physics

WSU professor and former Los Alamos National Laboratory physicist Brian Jensen is the new director of the Institute for Shock Physics. He succeeds Yogendra Gupta, who led the program for 26 years.
