Cross Country Ski

While the winter is sometimes cold and frightful, the scenic beauty this season offers can be delightful! Discover the beauty of the Palouse Divide winter recreation site located 45 minutes north of Moscow. This winter playground offers 12-18 miles of groomed and un-groomed trails to explore for cross country skiers of all abilities. The trails offer spectacular views of Idaho’s Clearwater National Forest. Explore the winter wilderness Jan. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Registration is $45 for SRC members and $70 for nonmembers. Registration closes Jan. 18.

It is important to note that certain components of this trip may prove to be physically and mentally demanding. More specifically, skiers must be prepared to face frightfully cold winter weather. The trip costs include all the necessary equipment, transportation, permits and a trip leader. Interested skiers must come to the ORC prior to this trip to be outfitted with appropriate ski equipment.
