Course evaluation system outage, Aug. 25–30

WSU has scheduled critical system maintenance on the university course evaluation system, Blue. WSU Blue will be temporarily unavailable starting at midnight on Sunday, Aug. 25, until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30.

During this time, Information Technology Services (ITS) will also update WSU Blue’s login system to use Okta, the university’s primary authentication software.

While Blue is offline, WSU faculty, staff, and graduate students will be unable to access course evaluation reports. Access to existing reports in WSU Blue will be restored when the service returns online starting Aug. 31.

This maintenance is scheduled to occur when course evaluations for WSU students are not in progress, ensuring minimal user impact and disruption.

Following this maintenance, WSU users accessing Blue will notice a new login experience consistent with the login process for myWSU, Canvas, Workday, and numerous other university resources. The user interface, functionality, report accessibility, and all other service features for WSU Blue will remain unchanged.

For any questions or concerns regarding this upcoming outage, please contact Crimson Service Desk via email at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu or phone at 509-335-4357.
