Cougars of the Desert 2022

The Cougars of the Desert invite you to join us on Saturday, Feb. 26, for the second annual virtual Cougars of the Desert Event and Auction and on Sunday, Feb. 27, for the annual Cougar Desert Golf Classic with Wine and Cheese Social at the Indian Wells Country Club.

Attend one or all of our events:

  • Saturday’s event will feature special guest Dr. John Tomkowiak, Founding Dean, Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, a virtual auction of Cougar gear/swag, and Raise the Paddle. It will also include an opportunity to meet the ’21–’22 Cougars of the Desert Scholarship students. Join us virtually using your computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.
  • On Sunday, we are offering an 18-hole golf tournament on the nationally-ranked Indian Wells course for our golf enthusiasts.
  • Following the tournament is an in-person wine and cheese social for all Cougs, with hearty appetizers with Cougar cheeses, two drink tickets per person, golf prizes, and a virtual and live auction including Cougar-connected wines, golf packages, and Cougar gear/swag.

The proceeds from these events support student scholarships. In addition to benefiting a wonderful cause, it will also be a great opportunity for us to reconnect with one another.
