Cougar Health Services’ Arielle Wilcox receives New Professional Award

The American College Health Association (ACHA) has selected Washington State University’s Arielle Wilcox, a health education program coordinator in Cougar Health Services, for its 2026 ACHA Affiliate New Professionals Award.

ACHA created the award to recognize members who have provided service to the field of college health for five years or less and who have made significant contributions to their institution.

Wilcox first joined Health Education as a student volunteer in 2019 and became a student employee in 2021. She was hired full-time in 2022 after graduating from WSU.

Wilcox specializes in compliance education at WSU Pullman, where she leads thoughtful, access‑driven compliance education that centers safety, care, and shared responsibility. Her work bridges public health and higher education to strengthen sustainable, student‑centered systems of support.

The award will be presented during ACHA’s annual meeting in Denver, Colorado, on May 27. As an award recipient, she will be featured in ACHA’s newsletter, on its website, and receive a written citation.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
