History faculty member Lipi Turner Rahman will speak on South Asian Immigration to the U.K. and U.S., as well as changing immigration policy, in her talk “Quotas, Links, and Chains,” Wednesday, March 11, at 7 p.m. in CUE 203.
Turner Rahman’s talk is part of the Common Reading series exploring various issues of immigration, refugee policy, and forced migration to complement this year’s common text, “Refuge: Rethinking Refugee Policy in a Changing World” by Alexander Betts and Paul Collier.
