Common Reading nominations close today!

It’s not too late to submit a nomination for the 2016-17 Common Reading book.  The Common Reading Program is looking for books that fit the two-year theme of “Leadership and Social Justice.”  “Just Mercy: A story of Justice and Redemption,” by Bryan Stevenson is this year’s book that aligns with this theme.

The Common Reading website has a list of this year’s already-nominated books.  You can suggest a new book or endorse and already-nominated book.  Fill out the online form with the book’s title and why it would be a wonderful choice for freshmen and others to read and discuss in the classroom and beyond.

Nominations will remain open until 6 p.m today.
