Chris Parker is professor of political science at the University of Washington. He has written extensively about race and politics, and his most recent book is Change They Can’t Believe In: The Tea Party and Reactionary Politics in America.
Paul Pierson is John Gross Endowed Chair of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. His most recent book is Winner-Take-All Politics: How Washington Made the Rich Richer and Turned Its Back on the Middle Class.
