Coffee & Politics: Drug Wars and Warriors – February 2

How has the ‘war on drugs’ evolved over time and why has it continued even against all evidence of success?  Suzanna Reiss, associate professor at the University of Hawaii in Manoa, will discuss the history of the war on drugs and the profits it has generated for large institutions in the US and elsewhere. The event is free and open to the public, and pizza and soda will be provided. Join us in the Foley Speaker’s Room on the third floor of Bryan Hall on Tuesday, February 2, at Noon.
