Climbing wall instructor course

Join the Outdoor Recreation Center Oct. 31-Nov. 2 to learn all of the skills necessary to become a climbing wall instructor! The course teaches participants the how to relay information to climbers, the development of risk management and risk management expertise, basic climbing problem solving techniques and on wall coaching techniques. Participants will be assessed on their core knowledge and their coaching skills. This course also serves as the last step in the hiring process of climbing wall supervisors! Registration costs $60 for SRC members and $90 for nonmembers. Course training will take place at the SRC on court 7. For more information, or to register, please visit urec.wsu.edu/climbing-wall.
