Clean Your Plate: Fruit for Thought

WSU Dining Services mixes up the menu with healthy apple and pear dishes during Clean Your Plate on Oct. 28, 29 and 30. Apples and pears are low in calories, nutrient dense and good sources of fiber and Vitamin C. Boost your health and energy with nutritious fruit recipes served on the following days at all dining center locations:

  •  Monday, October 28—Ginger Apple and Pumpkin Soup: savory autumn soup with a robust and unforgettable flavor
  • Tuesday, October 29—Pear Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette: refreshing salad topped with Gorgonzola cheese
  • Wednesday, October 30—Pork and Apple Pie with Cheddar-Sage Crust
