The Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation (CDSC) “Using Camtasia for Multimodal Collaboration” Workshop with Lucy Johnson

CDSC Graduate Assistant Lucy Johnson will be hosting a workshop titled “Using Camtasia for Multimodal Collaboration” in the CDSC Spring Series Friday, March 11, from 9 a.m.- noon in the CDSC (Holland Libraries, 4th Floor).

Interested in using Camtasia as a collaborative resource for your classroom? This three hour workshop will provide technical training in the Camtasia screen-capture software and then allow participants to apply that knowledge in a classroom exercise focused on rhetorical analysis of website design. By the end of this workshop, participants will not only have foundational skills in Camtasia, but will also come away with basic multimodal design and rhetorical principles. The exercise following the tutorial will demonstrate a lesson plan for undergraduate students on how to combine the software with the content in a multimodal collaborative exercise. No prior experience with Camtasia, multimodal design principles, or rhetorical theory is required.

Space is limited; please reserve your spot here.
