The Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation 2019 Summer Fellows

The Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation is pleased to announce our 2019 Summer Fellows!

Jeremiah Sataraka (Education) will increase the visibility and history of Washington State QTPIs (Queer and Trans Pacific Islanders) by highlighting QTPIs’ stories through a series of video interviews.

Brian Stack (History) will expand his work documenting the LGBT history of the Palouse and will create a digital space to preserve and share historical documents, and other resources.

Molly Carney (Anthropology) will create a digital ethnobotanical database documenting the plants used and managed by Columbia Plateau cultural groups as a resource for researchers, managers, and a teaching tool.

The 2019 Summer Fellows will work with CDSC staff at WSU on their projects and participate in the second annual Palouse Digital Scholarship Symposium, a week long set of workshops focusing on digital scholarship with the Center for Digital Inquiry and Learning at the University of Idaho.
